NewYork.Cab Auction at $20,500 on Flippa Now Suspended

April 30, 2015 By Raymond Hackney 6 Comments

The auction for NewYork.cab has been suspended as it looks like the seller and the top bidder have both been suspended. The auction was getting some talk on places like GTLD.link.

OnlineDomain.com wrote about the previous auction of the name where it closed unsold. Konstantinos pointed out there is $1,000 renewal and the owner has $7,000 invested with renewals out six years.

Gtlds at $1000 a year are a farce, poor guy got his ish handed to him for the next 7 years, claim bankruptcy now, and in 7 years you will be clear.

This guy belongs to gtld.link with Phil of xyz fame, and his merry men of hypsters at gtld.link

They hype the extensions, and are now letting them expire worthless after spending hundreds on EAP and premiums.

Only way for these guys to break even, another guy from that site was selling USA.vacations and would not state the $3600 annual premium, online domain called him out also, jokers.

      Hi Ryan,

I am one of these gtld.link hypsters. 😉 I call myself “Fancy Domains” there

I can obviously only talk for myself, but I have sold 24 new gTLDs since september 2014 and I am renewing about 85% of mine.

Hype the extensions ?? Ryan, maybe you should spend more time researching before you make comments like that! I have never hyped a name to anyone. I’ve used my hard earned dollars to invest in high risk , potentionaly high return new Tlds . I’ve sold names like coastal.cruises for 6k documented in dnjournal . Several other memebers of the forum have amazing portfolios containing some of the best .coms … Get to know who you are slandering. Just a friendly .tip

No sympathy for gtld suckers. The idea is a bad one and anyone who doesn’t see it, deserves what happens next.

Who asked for anything ? What happens next ? Looks like Phil made a $6000 sale. List your $6000 sales.
