Coffee.club buyer is Bill McClure of Coffee.org.
Late Saturday night we wrote about Coffee.club being sold for $100,000 many believed the sale to be suspicious as their is currently no whois data. The sale took place at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. and was tweeted by Larry Fischer.
Larry has left a comment on this blog and TLDinvestors.com that the buyer was Bill McClure of Coffee.org.
I again confirm the sale. Coffee.club was purchased by the owner of coffee.org, Bill McClure.
I also tweeted @getdotclub who said

According to Bill McClure’s interview on Domain Sherpa some two years ago, he bought coffee.org for 100k and used it as his main site. He said coffee.org would work and therefore he didn’t even consider coffee.net when it was available. So, I’m a bit surprised he would spend the same 100k to acquire coffee.club. Another interview with him will surely give us insight into his thinking.
its possible this purchase was under the startup.club program, at $10k a year for ten years.
Do what a great way to get off and running with coffee.club with a $ 800 a month lease payment, and name is yours after ten years.
